Ohh a seriously lush, rich, poetic prose book has just come across the my desk at Unicorn Tree Books in Lincoln Central Market for me to review. 'Mariner' From @hodderbooks and written by Malcolm Guite (whom by the way also has a beautiful lent & Easter book available too), is as the subtitle says ' a voyage with Samuel's Taylor Coleridge'.. Oh and it is a voyage with sequences of words that rise and fall and ebb and flow, sharing coleridge's epic poetry and his life story and commentary on his work and themes in one beautifully written book. If you love poetry, like Coleridge, or are a fan of Guite's previous work then this is seriously a must have and read book.
