This week's Bookshop Boss recommendations from Unicorn Tree Books in Lincoln Central Market... 'Time to Act' from Christian Climate Action arrived into the shop yesterday and we are now done to only one copy left in stock... Its a resource book with a series of chapters from a range of different people, and though it's main appeal is to those involved with XR & other Climate Change groups its also well worth reading at church or individual level for consideration on a response and actions to take for change. Then new in the Holy Habits series is 'Serving' both the individual biblical reflections book and the group studies material... Like the others in the series this is excellent material that really helps you explore deeper what 'Serving' really means in a Christian context and in our everyday lives. Cathy Madavan's 'Irrepressible' is a really good book on the concept of Resilience, what it is and how to have it! Easy to read and with some great insightful question at the end of each chapter - that though for Individuals could with a bit of tweaking make for an incredible group study too. Finally Ken Costa's 'Joseph of Arimathea' is a beautiful hardback with an interior that has bright yellow splashes throughout, a bit like the bright moments of courage when we take a stand... Of which this book actually talks about quite a lot... Because of its production values this one would make an incredible gift I think. Of course there are a lot more books than these that arrived in this week... And also we had Palm Crosses and more Easter Cards & books in too, so it would be great to see some of you come in and pick up some great resources ;) Remember without you there is no us, so we love it when you do come in and support your local bookshop like us here at Unicorn Tree Books in Lincoln Central Market. https://ift.tt/1TEBPlr #books #book #indiebookshop #christianbooks #christianbookshop #spirituality #church #brf #spck #xr #climatechange #resilience #biblecharacters #authors #reviews #lincoln #Lincolnshire #market
